Red Barn

We had been looking forward to today's activity for quite sometime. Even though we woke up to storms and rain (which I very much enjoyed!), it cleared up to reveal a beautiful sunshiny day - perfect for a trip to Red Barn.

"Dancing in the rain" was on our list, but Maggie didn't want to get wet, so we improvised.

Red Barn Learning Center is a cute little farm in rural Hayfield with animals and other activities. Our friends, the Larsons, had been wanting to visit it as well, so after a stop at Caribou for our first pumpkin mochas of fall, we meandered our way around road construction to arrive at our destination.

The minute I opened our van doors, two kitties jumped in to say hello and to clean food off our floor.

So fun to see all the farm cats. Brought back memories of my grandparents' farm cats growing up. This particular kitten was well-loved by Maggie and Raef.

Nice...donkey.

Boys loved the sandbox.

And the crew afterwards at our place.

Thanks for coming to visit, Larson Family!
